Crumbs Bake Shop to close all stores
#TaniaOnTheScene - Oh no! Say it aint so.
Crumbs notified employees Monday that it would be closing all of its stores at the end of the business day, a spokeswoman for the New York-based cupcake maker said.
"Regrettably Crumbs has been forced to cease operations and is immediately attending to the dislocation of its devoted employees while it evaluates its limited remaining options," the company said in a statement to The Wall Street Journal. Those options could include a bankruptcy filing, the spokeswoman said.
Celebrating 10 years of Shake Shack
#TaniaOnTheScene - On June 12th, Shake Shack’s actual 10th Birthday, the Madison Square Park location will host the Decade of Shack-Fest.
Open to the public, it will be a fun-filled, all day celebration (rain or shine) featuring live music from Catey Shaw, The Tall Pines, Cheerleader, Ski Lodge, and Miniature Tigers. As a tribute to the early days of Shake Shack, a special hot dog cart will be on-site serving complimentary “pay what you’d like” Shack-cago Dogs with all proceeds benefiting the park, while supplies last.
To help guests work up an appetite (as if that’s needed!), a HENGE concrete ping pong table will be setup on the gravel near the Shack, with Shack paddles and balls readily available for guests to use throughout the day.
@DylanDili gets personal and talks about some of his unreleased work and much more!
#TaniaOnTheScene - Dylan Dilinjah sat down with me to talk about some of the new songs he’s working on for his album “Pain 2 Power.”
One of which is a Caribbean hip hop song, “All the Best.”
The other, “Diamond Knife,” is a techno, house, dance hall song that has an awesome, upbeat tempo to it.
Dylan also talks about the unreleased work that he’s done with Beenie Man, Vybez Kartel, Keyshia Cole, and working with Suge Knight.
My interview with Dylan Dili was a very entertaining one. He’s definitely a cool, down to Earth guy.
He even made fun of my accent!

#TaniaOnTheScene - Jason Collins became the first openly gay player in major American professional team sports, getting in Sunday’s game for the Brooklyn Nets against the Lakers.
The 35-year-old center and 12-year NBA veteran, who signed a 10-day contract with Brooklyn earlier Sunday, finishes with zero points and two rebounds in 12 minutes of action in his season debut.
