The Party of the Year
#TaniaOnTheScene - The Met Gala Red Carpet event was the talk of the town.
With a livestreamed red carpet and Beyonce as an honorary chair of the event, the 2013 Met Gala might just be the swankiest one yet. The annuel fête, which formally kicks off the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s yearly Costume Institute exhibit, always brings in a bevy of style stars, from models to designers to Hollywood’s A-list.
Last year, celebs shined in metallic ensembles, each giving a unique nod to Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. This year, we expect things to be totally different — with a theme like "Punk: Chaos to Couture," we’re bound to see plenty of studding, black leather and perhaps a few mohawks.
So who will do the unconventional theme justice? See our continually updated slideshow for all the red carpet looks — and don’t forget to tell us which ones are your favorites in the comments section!

Mr Elba gets adorned with female attention at cocktail launch party
#TaniaOnTheScene - When trying to pinpoint what makes Idris Elba a favorite with the ladies, it’s a fierce battle between his husky voice, his dashing looks and his charming personality.
Whatever it is, it was clearly working it’s magic last night as Idris attended the launch of the Tanqueray Gin Palace in London.
The 40-year-old actor found himself surrounded by women at the pop-up event in Covent Garden as he made his rounds about the bar.

Watch Out Wednesdays: Tania On the Scene Posted on Oct 03, 2012 by Le Belle’s Block
LeBelle’s Block had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Tania from Tania On the Scene. Hailing straight out of NYC Tania is currently working at PIX 11 Morning News in NYC as a traffic producer. This renaissance woman is a force to be reckoned with and because of that I wanted to share more information about her and what she does with you guys! Njoy!
A Little About Tania:
Tania L. Breton, aka “Tania On The Scene,” was born and raised in Springfield Gardens, Queens, NY. After graduating from York College with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Journalism, Tania worked as a staff writer for the college’s paper, “Pandora’s Box.” After three years of dedicating herself to the craft, she worked her way up to becoming the sports editor. While she did enjoy her experience in her editorial role, she still was not entirely satisfied, and yearned for more, beyond the bounds of print journalism. Eventually, she found herself interning at “Transit, Transit” and “WPIX” during her senior year. Her final year of college was when she discovered her passion: broadcast journalism.
From an early age, Tania’s father hosted the first Caribbean sports broadcast show on television, on the QPTV network, “Le Journal Sportif.” So it was only natural that she developed a passion and ease for being in front of the camera. As a scion of the trade, Tania honed her persona by seeking to adopt and perfect the nuances of engaging the camera and cultivating a personality that audiences would embrace. She learned how to carefully cultivate her image “on the job”, and benefited tremendously from being under her father’s tutelage.
