@Check1212 Heating Up The Stage at Webster Hall

Today on #TaniaOnTheScene, I bring to you a talented artist: Mike Check.

Mike Check is not just his stage name, it’s his real name. Picking up the drum sticks at the early age of 7, Check was drawn to the hip-hop sound and culture. Several years later, the songwriter performs with conviction on the stage.

Check out snippets from his performance at Webster Hall on November 18, 2012:

Sip & Shop Mixer

#TaniaOnTheScene || I can’t make it to this event b/c I’ll be out of the country, but hopefully you can attend.

On Saturday, July 21, 2012, C’est La Vie Boutique will be hosting its 2nd Annual Sip & Shop mixer.   This event was such a success last year!! The CLV Sip & Shop showcases about 10-12 local small businesses in one place, and it affords guests the opportunity to indulge in various fashion pleasures, all in one place, while sipping champagne and having fun with old and new friends! It is definitely a “can’t miss” event!! Please visit and click on the photo gallery to view photos from last year’s event!

#TaniaOnTheScene finally got to edit and post pics and video from the showcase that x3mag put together. It was at Mavi Lounge, in Queens. DJ G Money was on the 1s and 2s and several artists performing definitely held it down.

A special shout out to @WynterStar for having me out. The event was a success.
