#TaniaOnTheScene - After Usher kicks off the episode performing his new single ‘Twisted,’ the contestants duke it out before two more are eliminated last night.
Tension was high on the set of "The Voice" on Monday night as the final five duked it out to get one step closer to that record deal with Universal Music Group. This week’s semi-final round narrows the competition down to three and will send the two lowest-voted hopefuls home on Tuesday. Like last week, the contestants performed twice, choosing one dedication song and another picked by their trusty judge.
Usher kicked off the top of the broadcast with a funky performance of his latest Pharrell-produced single, “Twisted,” which would have certainly made James Brown proud. But after his sing and dance number, the focus was reverted right back to the contestants.
Blake Shelton and Usher Perform ‘Home’ for Oklahoma Benefit Concert
#TaniaOnTheScene- Blake Shelton and Usher’s friendship might have just gone a notch higher after the “OMG” singer brought in much-needed support for his fellow mentor on the hit TV show “The Voice”. Usher lent his talent and star power for Shelton’s “Healing in the Heartland” benefit concert at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City on Wednesday night, May 29 to help raise funds for the victims of the tornado that hit the neighboring city of Moore, Oklahoma two weeks ago.
Shelton and Usher teamed up to cover Michael Buble's hit song “Home”, with the country crooner kicking off their joint performance sitting on a stool onstage as he played an acoustic guitar. As Usher walked in for the next verse, the crowd cheered, and after he sat on the other stool beside his duet partner as they joined for the hook, Shelton asked the audience, “Is there anybody in the world cooler than Usher?”
#TaniaOnTheScene - The big question for Season 4 of “The Voice” is how new coaches Usher and Shakira will mesh with returning coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton??? Host Carson Daly reports the quartet gelled almost immediately. “The Voice” season 4 will be premiering Monday, March 25th at 8pm on NBC.
Here him vent and speak his mind. Some artists are quick to follow a certain trend and fall short of their dream because they lack originality. Panama chose to bring his Panamanian pride to the masses and although it may not be the most popular thing to do, he’s happy doing it and moving on his own merit.
